Our Church
Centerpoint Baptist Church is a ministry founded on Biblical principles. Centerpoint serves in the spirit of excellence with integrity and compassion for our community, our nation, and our world. Through community outreach events and by supporting missionaries, both local and abroad, our hands reach far with the love of Christ.
We have established a reputation for reaching the lost and broken and to minister and serve them with the utmost level of dignity and respect. We are a multicultural and multigenerational congregation with a wide array of worship music styles.
The preaching at Centerpoint is Bible-based, verse by verse, and always applicable to daily living. We offer programs that will help members of all ages grow in the truths of God’s Word, including Bible studies, Word of Life Olympians for children, Word of Life teen club for the youth, and Ignite for our college and career aged members.
Our church environment promotes personal engagement, focuses on discipleship, and supports and molds effective leadership. For over fifty years, Centerpoint Baptist Church (formerly known as Madeira Baptist Church) has had a goal to reach souls for Christ; that passion for soul-winning and discipleship still continues today.

Pastor Lee Fulenwider
Pastor (Roland) Lee Fulenwider was born on October 14, 1974. His mother heard how Hannah gave her son back to the Lord to be used by Him. She prayed that her son too, would be used by God to be the man, the leader God would have him be in every aspect and area of his life.
As a young child, Pastor Lee would set his two younger sisters down on the steps of their home, preach to them, and pass the offering bowls. He had such a heart for children, and became extensively involved in the bus ministry at Calvary Baptist Church. At age 15, (in April of 1989) his family joined Madeira Baptist Church (now Centerpoint Baptist) and again, Pastor Lee became involved in the bus ministry. He voluntarily worked in different areas of the ministries of Madeira. Pastor Lee was born again on October 28, 1998 during a revival at Madeira Baptist Church with Dr. Harold Hunter. Just three years later, at the age of 27 (2001), he surrendered to preach, and shortly thereafter he was ordained by Dr. Jerry A. Robinson. Pastor Lee taught, served, and worked with the youth for many years as a volunteer. He officially came on staff in January 2006. Pastor Lee served with Dr. Robinson as the co-pastor of Centerpoint Baptist Church from 2017 until august 2018, when he became full time Pastor. Pastor Lee and his wife, Kristin Fulenwider, have four children, Reid, Emma, Alexis and Andrew. His passion for preaching the Word of God |
